I rarely miss doing an update, but this week I am busy beyond words. So, here are some “short takes.”
- I flew to the US Army’s National Training Center (NTC) this week on Delta. They were on time, the service was superb, and my checked luggage made it with me!
- If you rent a car at the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, it’s a sure bet that it will take more time than you expect to get in it and drive away. Plan on that.
- An airport filled with gaming machines may be expected in a town like Las Vegas, but it’s still tacky.
- Interstate 15 from Las Vegas to Barstow is a trash-strewn mess. Pathetic against what would normally be a majestic high desert landscape.
- Not many people live on that landscape. So, where the heck is the trash coming from?
- A full moon over the NTC at night is something to behold.
- I love being with patriotic soldiers. The far left in this country could learn a lot from them if they didn’t spend so much time peddling DEI and gender nonsense.
A full report next week!
